I'm always in awe over sunset pics. Some of the color combinations are unbelievable and different every evening. Which is why they're perfect for jewelry inspiration!

Making your own kidney wires is fun and easy plus I love the movement when they dangle the focal piece, unlike a regular ear wire. You can use round or flat half hard wire for making the earrings. Embellish with seed beads, crystals, pearls or any other bead that fits onto the wire.

I used smaller blue pearls for the kidney wire base that worked well with the light amethyst crystals. These components perfectly matched the Alaskan image but you can substitute any components you wish.
