"All my life I have collected rocks and for years I’ve been tumbling them just to see how pretty they are. Now I can turn those gems into wonderful pieces of jewelry."
"I am very happy with the instruction I received in the beginner package I purchased in May. I have already sold 12-14 pieces and have commissions to sell more. I spread myself a little thin and made necklaces and earrings also, but what I have mostly sold is the wire wrapped pendants. I wear some of my designs and have had people buy jewelry I am wearing several times. The other encouraging thing is that they are frequently offering me more than I am asking. I can see the imperfections that they can't see, and also, if I had the expense of setting up at a craft fair I would have to charge more. I know the wire is the best that I have done. I am beginning to feel more confident in what I am doing and am gradually charging more. Thanks for the good instruction, and best wishes!" Anne Stiles from Bradenton, Florida

Keeping a Clean Tumbler
Karen from Michigan asks, "When I tumble my sterling chain mail bracelets, they come out shiny but with a yellowish cast. I am using stainless steel shot and a little bit of Dawn in the water. Is there something that I can do to assure that my silver comes out silvery?"
It could be because you didn't properly clean the tumbler before use. Imported tumblers can be made with inferior material and break down. 1/3 cup of vinegar and water in tumber. Run for 20 minutes. Rinse with 1/3 cup baking soda to neutralize vinegar and then rinse with clear water. Fill tumber as usual and things should be fine.
