Wire Wrapping Techniques

What I find I love the most about the wire wrap jewelry community is the wealth of knowledge that everyone shares. We're all part of this group because we have a common interest, wire jewelry. Through this commonality you're able to meet friends who can lend support if you need help, and with whom you can bond and laugh when a wire jewelry project doesn't turn out exactly as planned. If you're stuck, there are plenty of folks to share with you their wire wrapping techniques or to point you in the direction of a helpful wire wrap magazine or wire wrapping book. Sometimes it's fun to read questions that you all have asked in the wire jewelry making blog and the wire wrapping techniques that Dale "Cougar" Armstrong shares. It helps me gain wire jewelry making ideas and makes me laugh when I'm frustrated. Who doesn't like seeing that someone else is having the same issue with their wire wrap bracelet closure, or that their wire wrap ring isn't looking as pretty as they'd hoped? Or even better, that they've tried wire wrapping stones for the first time and it turned out perfect!

If you're new to making wire wrap jewelry, it's definitely helpful to be a part of this community because we all share our wire jewelry making ideas and sometimes you need that comfort when exploring a new enterprise. You may not know where to find wire wrap jewelry supplies, wire wrapping tutorials, wire wrap jewelry instructions, or the wire for jewelry making projects. It puts you at ease to know you can submit a question and your fellow wire wrap jewelry artists will jump to help you. What I especially like about wirejewelry is the fact that I can submit a question to the Wire Jewelry Making Blog, and the artist I know from the wire wrapping tutorials and wire jewelry instructional DVDs herself will answer! It's good to know that the people selling the wire wrapping tools and products are just as interested in this as I am, and want to help further my skills and education.

One of my other favorite parts of wirejewelry is our great community on Facebook, where I get to see gorgeous photos from our customers, wire jewelry pieces that they've designed themselves, are selling on Etsy, or even just finished from watching a wire wrapping technique DVD. And we also feature a new Wire Artist of the Month each month - check them out and see all the advanced wire wrapping techniques they use!

We hope that you will utilize all of the resources here on our site and find a passion that will bring you happiness the rest of your life. Wire jewelry is our life, and we would love to help you with your wire wrapping, step by step, whether you're completing your first or hundredth project. Now go "Get Twisted!"
