Do you have piles of bracelets in a box or drawer? Why not craft an attractive and functional bracelet display so your bracelets are easy to see and wear?
I'm gearing up to do a series of craft shows to sell some of the jewelry I've made and I decided to make my own bracelet display for my booth. It was easy to do and cost me next to nothing, thanks to having most of the supplies on hand already. You can make your own in a matter of minutes using a few thrift store supplies and your handy hot-glue gun. Here's how:

Instructions
Step 1:
Gather Your Supplies
You'll need the cardboard center from either a paper towel roll or a roll of wrapping paper. Then you'll need something to use as the base. I found a wooden stand with a dowel attached at my local thrift store, but you could also use a candlestick holder or short vase. Have fun scouting your local thrift store to see what could work! You'll also need a 12-18" piece of fabric or felt. Round up a hot-glue gun, scissors, a ruler, and a craft knife, and you're all set!

Step 2:
Cut the Cardboard
Decide how long you want your bracelet display to be (I made mine 9" long) and use your craft knife to cut the cardboard roll accordingly. For added strength, I cut a magazine the same length of my cardboard, rolled it up, and inserted it inside.

Step 3:
Cut the Fabric
Cut the fabric or felt to fit, leaving about 3/4" on each end of the cardboard. If your fabric is a light color and/or thin, you'll want to use a piece that's large enough to roll it around the cardboard at least twice so the cardboard doesn't show through. If you're using felt, once is probably sufficient.

Step 4:
Glue the Fabric
Roll the fabric tightly around the cardboard, then secure the end with hot glue.

Step 5:
Glue the Ends
Use scissors to cut 4-5 notches in the end of the fabric. Apply hot glue the ends of the fabric, tucking them down inside the cardboard.

Step 6:
Attach to the Stand
Apply hot glue to your candle stick holder or other base and attach the cardboard/fabric roll. Since my base was a dowel that is narrower than a candle stick holder, I decided to cut a hole in my cardboard before wrapping it with fabric so I could stick the finished cardboard roll down onto the dowel part way. Now you have a beautiful and functional way to store and display all of your bracelets! I have so many bracelets that I plan to make a second roll and gluing it to the front of the same base, using a cork or two as stands, thus providing a second, shorter roll for extra storage.
