Color Inspiration - Rainforest

One of my traveling pals took this deeply stunning shot while trekking in the Hoh Rainforest. "The Hoh" is considered one of the finest temperate rainforests in the United States located in the west side of Olympic National Park.
Mainly during the winter months, the rain provides a yearly average of 140 inches. The result is this lush, green canopy of coniferous and deciduous species. Mosses and ferns blanket all surfaces adding another dimension to the enchantment of the rainforest.

Having visited a few rainforests in my travels, they leave me in total awe and wonder, searching every step on my path for fairies and other magical woodland creatures!

This lush green carpet of mosses growing on the trees is the perfect combo of greens and coppers/browns. I did a slight patina on the main copper links to add an element of vintage to the bracelet, but you could patina the entire bracelet when complete.
