There are a lot of alternatives to one-on-one jewelry instruction. We recently announced the launch of our brand new jewelry DVDs. There are online classes, online webinars, books, magazine, forums and many other sources that help supplement your jewelry making hobby or career. While each of those things can be extremely beneficial to help further your abilities, none of them can be effectively used individually if you plan on being successful as a wire jewelry artist.

True one-on-one instruction and training is the ONLY way to really develop your jewelry making abilities.

Think about Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Do you think that Harry could have become the magician he became towards the end of the Harry Potter series without the direct association with Professor Dumbledore? The same projects that you’ll create during your Wired Workshop are the same projects that Dale “Cougar” Armstrong literally sells for $25-$325 to her own customers. These projects have been handpicked by Dale because she believes that these projects will teach you all of the techniques and wire jewelry concepts you need to know to advance your wire jewelry career or hobby.

All of the supplies you will use during your Wired Workshop event will be included at NO ADDITIONAL COST.  You will have all the supplies you need to successfully create the projects in your course. And we’ll have additional supplies at the event (at discounted prices) that you can purchase to create the same projects at home!

	In the Beginner’s Class you’ll have the opportunity to create two jewelry projects. The first one is called Quick Elegant Earrings. In this unique pattern for pearl earrings, you’ll learn how to create these earrings in as little as 20 minutes. These earrings typically sell for $25-$45. $45 for 20 minutes worth of work is great by anybody’s standard! The second project you’ll create is a Festooned Cabochon Pendant. This will be a very fun project where you’ll learn formulas and techniques that can later be utilized within any frame project. You’ll add a touch of romance and motion by learning to attach chains without the use of jump rings.
	In the Intermediate Wire Workshop we’re going to pick up the pace a little bit. By now you’ve already learned the basic concepts of wire jewelry. You understand the formulas and techniques necessary to create beginner pieces of jewelry and now we’re going to get into more advanced techniques as we create a beautiful Shandalar Collar. During your time in the Intermediate Wire Workshop, you’ll be able to learn how to work with a large bundle of wires, build and understand bead platforms, learn to incorporate headpins and chains within the main construction, learn a very cool method of making a prong setting that “Cougar” calls “chaos”, and much more!
	The Advanced Wire Workshop is going to be an intense 9 hour period where you’re going to create one of Dale’s best selling pieces of jewelry. You’ll create a Combination bangle that sells for over $300 retail (Yes, you can sell your jewelry piece right after the class if you’d like!). Learn how to work with a combination of 3 metals in 5 gauges, 3 tempers and 4 shapes…..wow, that was a mouthful! Also learn how to create this beautiful designer bangle, when and how to mix gauges/shapes and using pattern wire with success.

As mentioned above, there are tons of very helpful hints, techniques and formulas that you’ll discover as you participate in any one of the Wired Workshops.

On top of everything I’ve already mentioned, you will also learn the secret to making a good bail every time, how to produce a “jigged” effect with pliers, how to make your own ear wires, how to straighten long wire and how to effectively bundle a wide group of wire. Learn the secret to accurately measuring the amount of wire to use in a given project, how to make parallel tight wraps with square half-hard wire (yes, this is actually possible =), and how to work with wider pattern wire.

There is literally going to be SO MANY things taught in this class that you won’t be able to remember every single detail. That’s why we will be providing formula charts and step-by-step instructions on how to create the piece(s) of jewelry that you learned during these workshops.

You can take those charts and instructions home and practice over and over again until you’ve mastered the concepts and are ready to take a jump to the next level of jewelry making.

During the 9 hour periods for each of the Wired Workshops (no matter which city you attend) you will discover a wonderful working atmosphere. We kept the class limit to only 30 people per class. We did this so that you will have a LOT of direct one-on-one interaction with Dale and other experienced wire jewelry artists that will be assisting her during the class.

Because we wanted to keep the cost as low as possible for these classes, we had to cram a lot of instruction into a relatively small amount of time. Your class will last approximately 9 hours, during which, you’ll be learning years’ worth of jewelry technique and instruction.

You may be thinking that you might get overwhelmed during the class due to the amount of learning that will happen. DON’T WORRY!  Everyone here at Wire-Sculpture.com loves to teach and learn, but we also LOVE to have a good time.

There will be plenty of breaks, a delicious lunch provided by the hotel and plenty of time to talk to and associate with others in the class. And Yes – there will be time to get an autograph or two from Dale and even take a picture with her!
